Leadership Council Overview
The NAHB Leadership Council is made up of Builder and Associate members who have been nominated by their local and state associations to act as the voice of the home building industry as the association discusses industry issues and the policies required to address these issues, and elects the leadership of the association. They are the foundation upon which the national association is built, giving direction — based on their own experience yet weighing the needs of the membership at large — on advocacy issues and industry policy.
All Leadership Council delegates are expected to attend all annual Leadership Council meetings each year and need to attend at least two per year if working towards Life Delegate status. In the case of emergencies, delegates must request an excused absence from the NAHB Third Vice Chair.
